Announcing the New Temperature Overlay feature in Mediagistic’s Business Center Reporting Platform

It’s long been asked and wondered how the weather can impact a marketing campaign. Like it or not, weather can tip the balance in your marketing success for any industry, ranging from home services, travel and power equipment to fitness, powersports, family entertainment and more. Mediagistic has historically used local weather patterns to determine when and where to plan media flights and campaigns.

We’re now taking it a step further to include a new high/low temperature overlay in our proprietary Business Center reporting platform. While this alone may not be the silver bullet when it comes to launching a high-performing marketing campaign, it may help explain anomalies or successes knowing the local temperature, day by day, in comparison with lead and website traffic information. Here’s what it looks like:

“This is something that we’ve been working toward and are really excited to roll out to our clients. We constantly strive to bring our clients and partners the most relevant information in our reporting platform,” said Jennifer Denny, Director of Digital Marketing Operations, who piloted the project with Mediagistic’s inhouse development team. “And we feel this new feature will help to fill some of the disconnect between marketing tactics and local weather conditions that can help to determine success.”

Existing Mediagistic clientèle will begin to see this new feature rolled out in their own campaign reporting over the coming weeks. If you’re interested in learning more about Mediagistic or our reporting capabilities, click the link below to find out more.
